Target Community Outreach Website
During my time at Target, we made vast improvements to the Community Outreach section of the Target corporate website. Inheriting a web experience that was merely “brochureware,” I championed the gradual overhaul of the site to a truly interactive, engaging experience that lets guests engage in the great work of Target corporate philanthropy. As the managing creative director for Community Relations Marketing, I was responsible for (among other things) writing a portion of each marketing brief, (which provided a “jumping off point” for creative concepts); selecting the creative team for each project; evaluating creative at every milestone; partnering with multiple internal clients to ensure we were fulfilling wants and needs; and also ensuring—from concept through production—that the work synched across all media and lived up to the standards of the Target brand.
