Organizational effectiveness guru and entrepreneur John Farrell needed a visual identity and promotional materials for his start-up HR consultancy. I summed up his business proposition with the tagline “work relationships that work” and supported it with a playful series of hat icons—a metaphor (of course) for the different roles within any given workplace. A simple wordmark, placed well, completes the system.
